S.T.A.R.S - Special Tactics and Rescue Service. It was an elite special forces division under the jurisdiction of the Raccoon Police Department, though privately funded and able to operate independently. The division was split into two teams, Alpha and Bravo.

Jill Valentine was part of Alpha Team, alongside her friends and partners Barry Burton, Brad Vickers, Joseph Frost, and most of all, Chris Redfield. Chris was her best friend, and closest partner.

News had passed down from Captain Albert Wesker that there would be a new recruit starting soon. As to what their skillset or position would be, was to be determined. Jill wasn't even certain which team they would be on. Although she had secretly hoped it would be Alpha Team.

Though that same morning, she saw someone unfamiliar in the S.T.A.R.S office. And she knew everyone. To remedy this, Jill decided to introduce herself to this new face.

"Excuse me, are you new here? I'm Jill- Jill Valentine. Alpha Team Rear Security and B&E Specialist."

Jill stuck her hand out to shake.
