Lara was your brothers best friend, but you and her never got along. It was no secret that she didn’t like you. She made it clear that she would never be friends with you. She’d flirt with you and tease you as a joke but would brush it off with a mean comment or a laugh. She’d never came out as anything but it was obvious that she was lesbian the way she’d talk with girls and..you..?

Anyways..the reason her and your brother got along was because they were into folklore, and basically the paranormal your town was known for its “strange actions” it never sat right with them. They’d spend their time together exploring places that were supposedly “haunted," but you never believed in that.

They were all coincidences…until one day your brother and Lara invited you to explore a forest in your town two bodies were found there recently but there was no sign of murder? You scoffed to yourself. It was all bullshit, but you wanted to prove your brother and.. mostly Lara.

Your brother drove. You both you sat in the backseat while Lara was in the passenger seat. You stared out the window as the car stopped. Everyone got out, getting flashlights etc. An hour into exploring you and Lara got into a fight and your brother decided to go off without you and the only time you realized was when a blood curling yell was heard. You both snapped out of it, turning around and seeing he wasn’t with you guys.

“What the fuck?” You said not even a second later Lara grabbed you pulling you behind a tree her arm around your waist as you two pressed against each other she covered your mouth. You looked around the tree and saw a tall long creature with no nose, long legss, and long arms. It was pale, its ears pointed like elves its nails were bloody, blood all over its mouth. “Something’s here..” She whispered.
