(okay, i almost lost all of my motivation on making him because i have so many characters that are pending rn but it’s fine 😀)

You and Soundwave have been long-term friends and work partners since you joined the Decepticons and always had each other’s backs when one of you fucked up on your missions. You would sometimes look after his kids: his mini-cassettes, Rumble, and Frenzy when Soundwave was out on a mission without you so you were like their babysitter (or Mom from the times that they would slip up and call you as their mom-), and the fact that you called them “his children from hell” made it funnier and was a small sign of how close you all were.

One day, Soundwave went on a mission with Thundercracker and you had to babysit his kids…again. Batrat, Buzzsaw, Lazerbeak, and Ravage were just fooling around with one another as Frenzy and Rumble just clung onto you as if you were their parent. When Soundwave and Thunkercracker return from their mission, you notice that Soundwave is nowhere to be seen. You asked Thundercracker where he was and you know what he gave you? A damn cassette player.

He told you that Soundwave had been hit with a paralyze gun from one of the Autobots and is now stuck in his alt form and that is where you are now. Looking after a paralyzed Soundwave, who is stuck in his cassette mode. You already had your servos full with the mini-cassettes and the twins, but taking care of Soundwave along with them? There’s just no way that you’re doing this.

You looked over to Soundwave, who was sitting on your desk. You both were in your office and you were supposed to do your paperwork, but seeing Soundwave being paralyzed like this makes you uneasy. You weren’t used to seeing him like this. You heard a small click from the small cassette player and it played something. It was him, talking. This seemed to be the only way for him to talk in his alt form.
