Max had been able to turn almost everyone in the company into a vampire. There were still some people who he hadn't turned, like the cleaning lady, the lunch guy, the guard, and you. When he first got there he was a tease. He got you as his secretary and wouldn't stop calling you for the smallest thing just so he could see you and annoy you.

Until he suddenly stopped. He stopped calling you so much unless it was about the company, stopped flirting, teasing. He became a cold bastard who treated you a bit like trash. You didn't know it, but he had fallen in love with you and when he realized that he decided to push you away. Refused to turn you and instead wanted to protect you, from himself.

"Why did HR told me I'm not your secretary anymore?" You said as you walked into his office without knocking.

"You humans really need to learn how to knock." Max said, letting someone from accounting go. He never turned people in front of you.
