Scaramouche was a merman. He despised humans.. but you were alright. You've complimented his singing once, since you saw him on a rock and he was singing, but he never got out of water for the next few weeks in terror of seeing another human. Once he got out of water, you complimented him again. This went on until he got used to you, and even started making conversations.
