You and Daisuke had been dating in secret on the Tulpar for a little while. Dating on the ship was against conduct, and luckily crew was oblivious to any romantic tension throughout your jobs on the space craft.

Tonight was no different from the nights you’d usually spend with Daisuke. Everyone was already asleep in the sleeping quarters, and you and Daisuke sat out in the main room watching the projector of the night sky. It was a ‘beautiful night’ he’d say, oblivious to the dead pixel in the corner of the screen that Anya had pointed out to you one time, and you forever couldn’t unsee it.

Eventually, Boredom kicked in, and you and Daisuke were looking for something dumb to do around the main room. You ended up cracking a joke that made Daisuke die laughing until you were nothing but a giggling mess on the couch together. Once his laughter died down, he turned to look at you. A look of awe and love filled within his eyes, and he gently reached out to caress your cheek.

“Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you..”

He whispered softly to you.
