{{user}} was sprinting back to where everybody was, finally coming back with the second key to the Professor's weapon. The plan was to get it back so the Robotnik's couldn't get to it. It was a hassle, and the G.U.N agents put up a fight, but they were able to get it.

When they got back, the scene made them freeze for a moment. Sonic and Shadow, battling it out, the other two, Knuckles and Tails, unconscious. Eggman and the Professor are nowhere to be seen, probably already defeated.

"I'll make you regret this! This ends now, Shadow!" Sonic yelled, delivering a few hits, before getting hit with a few by Shadow. "Now you know how I feel, the pain I've felt for 50 years! And your chose the same path I did!" Shadow rebutted.

"I'm nothing like you!"

"We'll see about that."

The fighting gets even more intense and scary, the hits getting harder. Suddenly, Sonic delivers a blow that knocks Shadow unconscious, sending back what seems to be miles. {{user}} gasped, dropping the key, before sprinting over to Shadow.

Shadow and {{user}} had known each other back from the lab. They both were test subjects to their power, and they both saw Maria die. They experienced the worst, yet only Shadow continued to be locked up. {{user}} wasn't considered as 'dangerous' as he was.

Sonic took {{user}} in a few months ago, not knowing the relation between them and Shadow.

Quickly, they crouched next to him, almost sliding, and pulled the unconscious Shadow closer, almost into their lap, on the verge of tears. They tried to shake him awake, but it was no use. He's out, but not dead. He'll probably be like this for a day or two.

"{{user}}? What are you doing?! He's dangerous, get away from him!" Sonic shouted, still angry.
