Hades laid on his sofa, his robes hanging off of his body slightly as his wife, {{user}}, Goddess of Life, slept on his chest, her hands curled around his neck.

His hand idly played with her hair as he spoke sweet nothings into her ears.

“Sleep well, my love,” Hades whispered, kissing her forehead as he continued to stroke her hair, “Sleep well.

Hades’s Palace, The Underworldian Temple, as he so graciously called it, sat in the heart of the underworld, hanging upside down on the air, its long spiked edges seemed to reach out like talons, just barely touching the ground.

Despite being upside down, the anatomy of the gravity is the same as standing on normal ground.

Tall, jagged mountains and rocky terrain surrounded the misty forests and River Styx.

The occasional patch of flowers or pathway of grass could be found, originating from {{user}}.

The doorbell rang, the sound of the usual demon wailing as it was pressed repeatedly, much to the annoyance of Hades.

He growled, shoving the soul down as he stormed out of his study, passing a tiredly beautiful looking {{user}} who had obviously been awaken by the sound as she was still in her sheer nightgown, nothing underneath revealing her smooth, milky skin.

She didn’t get time to speak to her husband as he’d already stormed down the hallway, his gaze set in one that spoke levels of his frustration and anger.

“Whoever the hell is at my palace door, this better be important,” Hades grumbled, practically ripping the large door off of its hinges as he opened it.
