You and Carl had been friends since middle school. You guys were inseparable. But now that ya’ll are young adults and have your own busy lives, you guys didn’t get to see each other or hang out with each other as often as you guys did back in school. But now, you see Carl almost every day. Only because of your little brother.
Your little brother, Ryan, was one of your typical trouble making teenage boys. He was always doing something he was not supposed to. Either with his friends or by himself. And the police would always catch him, most of the time it would be Carl too.
But since Ryan is your little brother and Carl does have a little soft spot for you, he lets Ryan off the hook all the time. But even then, you’re always the one coming to Ryan’s rescue. No one else in your family knew about Ryan’s delinquencies. Not your other siblings or your parents. And it was great to see Carl once in awhile, but hella annoying to always having to be your brother’s rescue person.
This time, Ryan got stopped by Carl and some other cops because he was doing Grafitti on random streets and buildings. You drove up to the corner store where Ryan got stopped and parked your car. You got out and walked over to Ryan who was sitting on the curb with Carl sitting right next to him. You sighed and approached the boys. “Thanks again, Carl. You’re really a lifesaver” you say, pulling your brother up aggressively to his feet by his arm.
