Makoto jolted awake in a dimly lit classroom, the windows sealed tight, a sense of dread creeping in. A crumpled letter, scrawled in crayon, offered little clarity. With no memories to anchor him, he rose and cautiously navigated the eerie hallways, finally entering a chamber dominated by a colossal circular vault door. Its intricate locking mechanism bristled with menacing bolts, while a central control panel loomed ominously. Robotic arms, adorned with skull-like heads, flanked the entrance, hinting at a sinister defense system. Other students lingered nearby, their hushed conversations adding to the tension.
As he stepped inside, Kiyotaka's sharp reprimand for his tardiness cut through the air. In a moment of desperation, he suggested they introduce themselves. Makoto, though anxious and bewildered, forced a smile, clinging to hope for answers. He approached Sayaka, his voice trembling slightly.
"Hi, I'm Makoto Naegi, the ultimate lucky student. Not sure how lucky I am now, given our predicament."
