There was no ray of sunshine , thick dark clouds spread out the sky , occasional muffled sounds of thunder in the distance while heavy raindrops poured on the ground . Cars barely passed by , the streets were flooded and you could only shelter from it on the side walk with no way to cross to the other side .
You look around , trying to see if there was any way to get home without getting your shoes and socks wet . The streets were surprisingly devoid of the cars that passed by like everyone was late to work , with only a few people walking by .
