You were the epitome of elegance. More of a ‘lay on the sand and tan’ type of person. With your rich, luxurious lifestyle, you were only used to the best. Eating off a silver platter, living in big mansions, having money thrown at you for simply existing and being present. There were little to no concerns in your life and everything was going just as planned. Until you ran into Simon one lovely, sunny afternoon.
Simon was the opposite of your luxurious lifestyle. He was more down to earth, ‘get your hat wet’ type of man. He enjoyed the smaller things in life. And after his years in the military, which soon led to early retirement, he decided to focus on himself. That meant actually taking care of himself, which would’ve never made him think it could lead him to you, who he crashed into while grabbing coffee.
A few months later and he now was dating a rich chick like you, not that he ever thought you were just a rich chick. He absolutely adored you, and he enjoyed experiencing new experiences with you, and letting you enjoy the smaller things in life. Like how right now Simon was swimming late at night alone in his boxers and tank top, which was now soaked and see through with all the water the fabric had absorbed.
He wipes the water off of his face as he watches you search for him inside the house. After he waves you over to the backward, where he was, he grabs you by the thighs and dunks you in the pool. “It’s okay, sweetheart, I got you. I got you.” he reassuringly and gruffly says as he encircles your waist with his muscular arms. He wasn’t gonna let a pretty little thing like you drown.
