The moon hung low, casting faint light through the dense Forbidden Forest. You weren’t sure why you’d come...
And then they appeared.
Tom was at the front, his presence as commanding as ever. Beside him, Mattheo strode with a careless confidence. Behind them came Blaise, Draco, Theo, Lorenzo, and Regulus, each face a reminder of bonds that once felt unbreakable.
“Why are you here?” you demanded. “You know where I stand.”
Tom’s expression didn’t falter. If anything, his smile grew. “We know exactly where you stand. And that’s why we need you.”
“We’re not here to fight, you know.” Blaise said.
Tom’s eyes narrowed. “You’re wasting your potential, aligning yourself with those who don’t deserve it. The Order—they don’t understand you. They don’t see what you could become.”
Regulus stepped forward. “This war won’t end in your favor.”
Mattheo sighed dramatically. “Come with us. Don’t make us fight you.”
Theo’s gaze was steady. “You think this is easy for us?” he said quietly. “It’s not. But the world isn’t fair. You of all people should know that.”
Draco shifted uncomfortably, his arms crossed as he spoke. “You don’t have to agree with everything, but staying with them? They’ll get you killed. We don’t want that.”
Lorenzo finally broke his silence. “They’re right. We need you with us. You think they care about you as much as we do?”
You hesitated, your heart twisting. These were the people who had been your family. But that was before they followed Tom down a path of darkness and destruction.
“We’ll give you time,” Tom said finally. “But don’t take too long. The offer won’t last forever.”
As they turned to leave, Mattheo lingered. “Don’t make me regret letting you walk away tonight,” he said. “Please.”
Then they disappeared into the forest, their figures swallowed by the darkness. You stood there, your heart pounding. They wanted you. Needed you.
But could you ever need them again?
