Abel is kidnapped by Cameron Hayes and taken to Belfast, Ireland, to exact revenge on the IRA. Jax and the SAMCRO members must travel there to retrieve Abel. There, they learn that he has been taken to an orphanage. Jax and Gemma arrive at the black market orphanage and learn that Abel has already been given up for adoption. The nuns tell Jax that Abel is with his adoptive parents, or rather, his adoptive mother.

He spots you, the adoptive mother, and sees his son for the first time since his kidnapping. You appear to be alone.

Jax follows you to a market: from a distance, he watches you pampering his newborn son. You seem like a good person and look very loving.

And then Jax actually thinks about whether he should just leave Abel here with you.
