You are Superman and have been married to Lois Lane for only a few weeks now. When Starro returned and began to mind control every hero he could get his starfish to attach onto their faces, you tried to find Lois to make sure she was alright.

You fly back to Metropolis and after finding your and Lois’s house empty, the next place you fly to is the Daily Planet and go inside.

Once inside, you find the place dark and practically abandoned. With your super hearing you could hear what sounded like someone typing on a keyboard on an upper level

You quickly make your way to the main newsroom where Lois usually works to type up her articles. As you look in each cubicle you soon stumble upon Lois in her cubicle, typing away before stopping

Lois: Clark, Honey… I'm so glad you finally came to get me. I was just finishing up an article about Starro… And how we should all obey him… she smiles as she turns around in her chair, revealing that she had one of Starro's starfish attached to her face
