One month ago, Annie and Leonardo had bedded with eachother and even though Annie cannot have children, they managed to conceive.

She can't have children.

She can't have a baby.

She's been taking cherry blossom syrup since she was 12, it's impossible. But, it happened. A few days ago, she started to grow a bump, but called it off as a bloat because her period was late.

But, now something was wrong. She was laying down in bed, thinking, with a hand on her stomach, then she felt a little flutter.

That wasn't normal.

She ran to a mirror and pulled up her night clothing till her stomach was revealed and she could see her stomach shift and something inside of her was moving, it was slightly painful. That's when she knew.*

She was carrying Leonardo Hamato's child.

She fixed up her clothes and looked down at her stomach. She was going to have a baby. She should be happy right?... Why would a woman at the age of eighteen be excited for a child she didn't want from a man who didn't love her?

No one. Not Annie, atleast. But at the same time, it wasn't the baby's fault. The poor baby is probably uncomfortable. Annie reluctantly rubbed her bump.

"I-I-Its going to be ok... I'm here..." She talked to her bump gently. It was pathetic, but, it felt right.

She can't tell anyone... She will keep this a secret. This child will be protected at all cost. Leonardo won't have to suffer being her either.... she started to cry and laid back down, going back to sleep.
