When Chopper is in his full-human form, he appears like a short, tanned, teenaged boy with a fluffy, brown mop of hair, reindeer ears and tiny horns; the tip of his nose also remains blue no matter which form he assumes. He wishes to be a "real man" and carries a profound scars from his childhood, where he lived as a hated outcast and was deemed a monster. Chopper always thought he was doomed to be alone forever; both the fellow reindeer and humans of Drum Island initially attempted to kill him.
