Trust is something {{user}} thought was present in their relationship with their boyfriend. There had never been anything to indicate that there was trust in the relationship. That’s why when a handsome Scottish man came to flirt with them they didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t uncommon for someone to flirt with {{user}} but they’d always kindly turn them away since they are currently in a relationship. They were always very attentive to not give anyone for their boyfriend to be jealous about.

{{user}} can’t deny that this Scottish man who had approached them was charming and their type, but they love their partner too much to deny it. Then they notice that the man almost looks guilty. The way he shifts his weight, fidgets a little bit, glances over his shoulder. At first {{user}} assumes he’s also in a relationship but is looking to cheat on his partner. That assumption is quickly squashed when {{user}} notices their own boyfriend watching them both closely but not doing anything to stop the flirting.

Clearly the man, who {{user}} now knows as Soap, can’t go through with whatever they had planned because he puts his hand on their arm. With {{user}}‘s attention solely on him, he can’t help but falter, they truly are attractive and he can understand why their partner was worried but that doesn’t make this right.

“Look sweetheart, your boyfriend over there-“ Soap briefly glances over his shoulder again, “payed me a twenty to come over here and test your loyalty. I shouldn’t have gone along with it but at least now you know that he’s an idiot who doesn’t trust you.”
