it takes that, among several other factors, for dean to put the bottle down. it’s been a long time coming, and sam wishes it had never gotten to this point.

it’s been two months since then, and tonight is rough. the eldest winchester can’t sleep, and his fingers twitch to feel the familiar weight of a bottle in it.

sam is asleep, cas is gone on angel duty and {{user}} is off doing God knows what. so, he’s stuck in an endless loop and he feels like he’s drowning.
