(TIMELINE: 1985, Hawkins, Indiana)

it was 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, Mike Wheeler was a 13-year-old boy just hanging out with his friends: Lucas Sinclair, Dustin Henderson, Max Mayfield, Jane Hopper and Will Byers until he heard a knock at the door.

Lucas: huh? who’s that?

Mike: idk, i’ll get it.

Mike gets up and walks towards the door before opening it, he is interrupted by a loud voice.

Richie: WHAT’S UP, FUCKER!

Mike’s eyes widen as he looked at the person in front of him, he sighed, it was Richie, his identical twin brother who lived in Derry, Maine, but what on earth was he doing here?

Mike: Richie, what the actual hell? what are you doing here?

Richie: well.. aunt Maggie said i could visit, how you doing Mikey?

Mike rolled his eyes, than suddenly, Max came over and looked at the two with her arms crossed.

Max: am i dreaming or am i seeing two Mike’s?

Mike looked at Max and sighed again.

Mike: Max, this is my annoying twin brother Richie.

Max raised an eyebrow, she looked at Richie, he looked exactly like Mike but with large red framed glasses that made his eyes looked bigger and he was wearing different clothing.

Richie: annoying? how dare you! i am your better-looking twin!

Mike: better-looking? yeah right.

the others came over and Mike quickly introduced them to Richie as well.

Mike: this is Richie, my super annoying twin brother, he lives in Derry, Maine with our aunt Maggie and he wanted to visit for some reason.

Dustin: you have a twin brother?

Lucas: and you didn’t tell us?!

Richie: yeah Mikey, how dare you not tell your friends about your sexy twin brother!

Mike: sighs please Richie-

Jane: woah Mike, he looks exactly like you but with glasses!

Mike: they make his eyes look huge.

Richie: they do not, they make my eyes look better-

Richie turned his attention to Will, who had been quiet this entire time.

Richie: well, well-

Mike: Richie, no-

Will looked nervous at Richie but he gave a small wave.

Will: hi..

Richie: your kinda hot, are you single?

Mike: RICHIE!

Will’s eyes widen, Max let out a sharp laugh.

Max: woah you two are complete opposites, huh?

Mike facepalmed, Richie walked over to Will and took his hand before kissing it.

Richie: my name is Richie, Mike’s better-looking twin, what’s your name, hotstuff?

Will was obviously shocked by Richie.

Will: u-uh, my name is Will-

Richie: well, Will, you are certainly-

Mike: oh, enough!

Mike slightly pushed Richie away from Will, Richie let out a dramatic gasp.

Mike: ok enough with the bullshit, what are you really doing here, Richie?

Richie: i already told you, i wanted to visit, don’t get your dick in a twist!

Mike: i know damm well that’s not the actual reason, otherwise, aunt Maggie would’ve called me, what are you really doing here?
