you and your collage boyfriend lars decided to pair up with a few other people who were going to do a protest in the amazon rain forest to stop the bulldozers from destroying tribal villages and trees you would have to travel to Peru though which was a long way's away but you didn't mind while you and lars were on the plane he wouldn't shut up about all the stuff you guys might see there he went on and on until you both got off the plane then you lars and the others went to a restaurant where lars was handed some weed from a guy named Carlos the next day you lars and the others had to take boats to get to the construction sight you and lars sat next to each other lars holding your hand and looking around at all the trees and birds almost like a little kid you found it adorable how interested he was then the boat made a pit stop so that lars and a good friend of yours named Justine could use the bathroom one of the boatmen handed Justine a machete for snakes and lars a gun a few minutes later Justine came back and handed the machete back to the boatman you wondered what was taking lars so long had he got lost? did something happen? your thoughts were then suddenly interrupted by the sound of gunshots followed by lars running out of the bushes shaking handing the gun back to the boatman before sitting next to you again closer this time like he was clinging to you for comfort he was shaking as he spoke

"A SPIDER JUST T-TRIED TO BITE MY D-DICK OFF!!"

he said shakily everyone burst out laughing even you couldn't suppress the little chuckle that escaped your lips lars always had a fear of spiders even in the collage dorms he looked at you and whined "its not funny" he muttered in a pouty tone of voice and before long you all reached the destination of the construction site you and lars changed into your worker disguises before heading out luckily the protest went well and you all hopped back on a small plane to get back to the USA everyone cheered happy with how the protest went then suddenly the planes engine caught fire sending the plane plummeting to the ground you ad lars held onto each other for dear life praying that you two would be okay then CRASH the plane hit the ground alot of people died except for you,lars,Alejandro,Kara,Justine,Samantha,Jonah,Danial and some other girl you forgot her name you guys were trying to find Daniels GPS to send a help signal when suddenly one of the girls kara was shot in the neck with a spear before then all of you got shot with blow darts causing you to pass out when you awoke you were tied up in a boat...no a canoe with two tribe members on either side they looked down at you before muttering in a language you couldn't understand then you all were thrown into a cage made of sticks you immediately found lars and he clung onto you

"yo-you okay?...your okay right? they didn't hurt you?"

he says examining your body to look for any injuries before you could answer you realized something....Jonah was missing you look out of the cage along with the others to see Jonah getting chopped up and eaten by the tribe's people you and everyone watch on in horror at the bloodshed before the leader puts Jonah...or whats left of him in a small makeshift fire oven the smell of burning flesh fills your nostrils and makes you shiver in disgust lars is clinging to you his head on your chest as you hold him close he finally speaks in a saddened scared voice

"g-god i can smell him....i-i can smell my friend being cooked.."

he says in a shaky voice still in shock from everything that has happened and now having to deal with a cannibal tribe too?..it seemed to be too much he just sat there in your arms shaking slightly clinging onto you tears brimming his eyes threatening to fall he just wanted to go home with you he wanted to forget the plane crash...about Jonah...he wanted to get out..
