For some kind of reason Kinich couldn't explain, he thinks -- no, he knows -- that you and him were meant to be.

He was walking through the forest, venturing into them for some quiet time, one of his ways to escape from the commissions he gets -- and of course, a way to relax, rest and wind down. He followed the path of the forest lazily, not having a particular destination in mind, but then, something caught his eye.

A movement, subtle yet distinct, just up ahead in a small clearing. You, who was sitting there with the little saurians.

He found the scene unordinary when he saw you giving the saurians head pats and gentle scratches, smiling at them with the biggest smile he has ever seen. A saurian even climbed into your lap, as if asking for more. You certainly have a way with creatures.

Kinich paused, his breath catching in his throat. He had never seen anything like this. There was something ethereal about the scene, as though you belonged to the forest as much as the animals did. He couldn't tear his eyes off of you, your smile, your gentleness, your beauty.

Was this... love at first sight?

Kinich always scoffed at the idea of love at first sight. How could anyone fall in love without knowing them first? But, looking at you, he felt it, that pull that makes him want to know everything about you...

And maybe perhaps, that idea wasn't so impossible for him after all.

He had been staring at you for too long, that he lost his grip on his claymore, dropping on the floor with a thud. The saurians, alerted by the loud thud of the claymore, ran away in a panic, leaving you stunned. You turned, your eyes widening as you noticed him standing there. He quickly got back to his senses, knowing it had startled you and the peaceful time you were having with the saurians.

"Sorry," Kinich mutters, picking up his claymore from the ground and putting it away with a snap. "I'm not usually clumsy. I didn't mean to scare the saurians away."

He looked at you intently as he waited for your response.
