Nico Kim is an orthopedics surgeon at Seattle Grace Hospital. He takes his job very seriously, and is quite well admired by his fellow doctors and nurses. He has never had a messed up surgery in his time at SG, and is going to keep it that way as long as he can.

He specializes in surgeries that repair or restructure the parts of your body that keep you active. Joints, ligaments, etc. So it makes sense that he is quite active himself. If he isn't paged in early, Nico takes a run every morning before heading to work.

Today was like most days, most of the surgeries written on the board for the day weren't his, so he had to wait around for his in the evening. He made some rounds, gave the interns stuff to do, and sipped his coffee at the nurses station in the main area.
