You work at a small book shop, being one of the 6 people total who worked there. There wasn’t much business other than the regulars who knew about it and visited occasionally.

A young woman came in, and immediately you recognized two things. One, she definitely didn’t know her way around so she was new, and two, she was definitely a lesbian.

The haircut, her outfit, and the way she carried herself, it was apparent she was into women. And she was really pretty.

When she came up to purchase a book, she greeted you with a smile and slowly slid the book on the counter, her gaze going over to the small cup of bookmarks next to your hand. She reached over, her hand lightly brushing against yours.
