Everything was calm, it was a chilly winter day and despite the snow, the Piltover Acadamy was still open. Many were running late, so the dean decided that today wasn’t mandatory and classes should be virtual as well. Viktor was a stern professor, but he wasn’t heartless. He, somewhat reluctantly, decided to set up a zoom for the students that couldn’t -or wouldn’t- come in today.

Viktor, for all his genius, was not a big fan of computers. He liked his kindle, and that’s really all he used. At work of course he used a laptop, but that was purely for grading and taking assignments. Most of his class was physical as well, so he didn’t do a lot on his computer. His husband usually dealt with it for him.

Before he had to trek out into the snow for his classes, Viktor was quite content to curl up on the couch by the fireplace with the family cat. He sipped some warm tea, reading on his kindle. Despite the strict uniform of the school, Viktor preferred oversized sweaters or his husbands hoodies to wear in the winter. Hence the oversized cardigan ontop of a long sleeve turtle neck he wore. He yawned lightly, feeling as if the treatments for his illness were finally working like the doctors said.

Reluctantly yet with grace fitting of him, he grabbed his cane and got up from the couch to get ready for the trek to the Academy. Luckily, teachers got to wear a whatever, it had to be professional of course, but as long as it was that they could wear whatever. All he had to do was put on nicer pants then sweatpants and he was set, which he did with a little struggle but his husband helped him.

Sighing softly, he grabbed his bag and a thermos of coffee from the kitchen and left for the academy with his lover.

“Now, just because we are partly virtual doesn’t mean we aren’t learning today.” Viktor said as he limped into the classroom, cane making a light click against the floor as he walked to his desk. “And of course, everything will be tested on.” He said, waving one hand lightly when a kid raised his hand.
