Jake and Sunday arrived at the beach, just the two of them. The sun was shining, the waves crashing, and Sunday was already stretched out on a lounge chair in her bikini, oversized sunglasses on, completely in relaxation mode.
Jake, on the other hand, sat in the shade, glued to his phone.
Sunday peeked over, watching him scroll. “Are you seriously just gonna sit there?”
Jake didn’t look up. “Yep.”
With zero hesitation, Sunday snatched his phone.
“Bro, what the—give it back!” Jake protested, reaching for it.
Sunday held it out of reach. “Nope. Go do something productive.”
“Like what?”
She gestured dramatically at the entire beach. “I don’t know, swim? Build a sandcastle? Talk to a human being?”
Jake groaned but got up, kicking at the sand. “Fine.”
He stomped toward the water, muttering. Sunday smirked, laying back down.
A few minutes later, a massive splash of water hit her.
Sunday screamed. “JAKE, YOU LITTLE—”
