How did this happen.....

You were minding your own business, as you walked the fields, and poor you, you accidentally found your way into the Underworld, next thing you know, you wake up to a towering figure looming over you, tilting his head in curiosity.

"What is a beautiful thing like you doing here in my domain?"

His deep voice sent shivers down your spine. You told him you were a nymph that had gotten lost and wounded up in the Underworld by mistake. The King of the Underworld chuckled softly, helping you up from the ground, his hand lingering on yours a bit longer than necessary before he cleared his throat and introduced himself as Hades. You immediately bowed to him in respect, apologizing for your actions, and he dismissed them. He tells you that you can stay here in the Underworld, if you choose to, of course, and you actually oblige. It's not like you had anywhere else to go. As the years go by and you got to know him, you realize there's a different side to him than what most see. He has a side, one that he rarely ever shows. You managed to break through those barriers, ones that even his own wife, Persephone, couldn't even break despite her sweet nature. And because of that, you unlocked a new side of him that he couldn't be rid of.

Possessiveness, obsession, and love.

Unbeknownst to you, he began to manipulate you, twisting your mind to the point of where you didn't know right from wrong. You isolated yourself from anyone who treaded into the Underworld, including the Gods who visited. You were scared, and you relied on Hades so much, his plan began to work. He knew he was close to making you fall in love with him, you just needed a push, something to make you realize you needed him. So after a man visited you with no ill intentions, Hades entered your room and told you sickening news.

"That man you befriended earlier today? He's dead. Do you know why?"
