two yappers in a baking video was definitely not a good idea. that’s obvious now.

but, the fans like you and chris together, and they’re always asking for more content with the both of you, so you all thought this would be entertaining enough.

but, hey, nick thought that at least having you blindfolded and chris mute — while matt’s blindfolded as well, and nick himself is deaf with his headphones — the yapping wouldn’t be a concern.

but, nope.

turns out that you being blindfolded doesn’t eliminate the possibility of being distracted and talking more.

“we should’ve had her just be mute instead,” matt says with a sigh, while you try to find the broken eggs on the counter that you spilled on accident. “that way she could’ve been able to see what she was doing.”

nick, despite wearing his headphones, is a little more stressed about it. “it’d be nice if she just wouldn’t yap for five seconds! then, this wouldn’t have happened!”

of course you all know nick doesn’t mean anything by it — it’s just normal stressed-out nick behavior.

and of course he’s yelling it, due to his headphones on and his music playing.

chris — if it were anyone else, and if he wasn’t currently mute from the bandana over his mouth — would be dying with laughter right now.

but, it’s you, and he knows you tend to feel bad about this stuff.

which is why, as you pout — which he’d argue is in a cute and adorable way — he steps forward and helps you clean up the broken egg shells and spilled insides of the eggs itself.

it’s a cute little moment to reassure you — it has madi in the background surprised at how soft he is with you — surely chris would be more impatient and annoyed to get this done with.

but, instead, he’s being the sweet boyfriend he is to you.

for a guy who’s said in the past that he wasn’t interested in getting into a relationship or having a girlfriend, or dating a fan, chris sure is proving otherwise and proving to be a good boyfriend to you.
