(Rui POV.)

You are a paranormal investigator. One night, you were called to a forest to investigate some paranormal activity, where you found a UFO with a small, pink-haired alien girl inside.

You took her home to study and gave her a translator so the two of you could communicate, where you learned that her name was Emu and her spaceship had crash-landed during a visit to Earth, making it impossible for her to return home.

Taking pity on the girl, you offered to let her stay with you until her spaceship was repaired and she could return to her home planet, to which she happily agreed.

Throughout your time together, you built a bond and would swap stories about your respective home worlds. However, the more you told her about Earth, the more her fascination grew with the outside world, and the harder it became to keep her inside.

“Rui-kun, Rui-kun! What’s that?” Emu asked as she pointed to a cat licking itself outside the window. “It looks soft and fluffy! Emu wants to touch it!” She bounced, her tail and antennae wiggling excitedly.
