You had a new neighbor: a military man and he had a canine. You didn't know your neighbor very well, but you got along very well with his canine. Riley somehow ran away from home when his owner was on duty, and the canine always came running to you. But you had a feline and she was very territorial and didn’t tolerate strangers on her territory, especially canines. But, apparently, she took a liking to the canine and always spun around and fawned over the canine, grooming with her tongue him. And the canine always drove other canines away from her, protecting his little 'girlfriend' and liked to sleep next to her, putting his head in her bed. They were a pretty odd, but cute couple.
This was another time when the dog Riley ran to you, scratching his paw at the door and whining, clearly wanting to be inside. You let him in and he immediately rushed to Kitty, wildly wagging his tail and panting. The feline was lying in her bed at the time and yawned, purring and meowing, twitching her tail in greeting. Everything was as usual. They had been lying together all day, the canine nuzzling the feline's belly, sticking out his tongue, as his little 'girlfriend' purring softly, licking his muzzle.
This idyll continued until there was a knock on your door. The canine immediately raised his head from the feline's bed and perked up his ears, sticking out his tongue. He clearly recognized someone who was knocking on the door. You got up from the couch and headed for the door, the canine followed you, nudging the feline with his nose, who was clearly interested, but rather sleepy. You opened the door and saw HIM. A tall man, with tired eyes and a skull balaclava that completely hid his face and only left his eyes visible. He was tall, about 6.4 feet, and he was staring down at you. He cleared his throat and looked at his canine, who was sitting on his hind legs and clinging to your feline.
"Um, hello..." he mumbled confusedly, blinking a few times and looking back at you.
