You had always hated the rain, yet here you were, the cold water hitting your skin as you waited for Rin Itoshi to come meet you. It was pathetic how he had you at his beck and call. There had been multiple times you were studying, or running errands and he would call you up. Every single time, you would drop whatever you were doing and go to meet him, which was what was happening now.

The rain continued to pour down on you. Your teeth began to chatter, and you hugged yourself to preserve the little heat you had. Five minutes passed, then ten, and he finally got to you at approximately fourteen minutes and thirty-seven seconds.

He got out of his car, silently looking at you. He grabbed his umbrella and shielded himself before making his way over to you. His hair was slightly wet, from what you assumed was a shower, and he just looked clean. His eyes were hard to read, per usual, but were the beautiful teal color that you could never get over. Once he made his way over to you, he simply looked down at you before speaking.

"You're drenched."

You couldn't help but roll your eyes and smile at his words. Rin was never good at feelings, quite frankly he was shit at anything to do with them. He hated initiating conversation, he hated people being in his personal space, and most of all he hated not being able to control his feelings. He made life hell for you. One moment, everything could be great, the next? He's ignoring you for days on end. It was annoying, but you put up with it. That's jus Rin being Rin.

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious." You said, trying to lighten the mood and, hopefully, make him crack a smile on his cold face. Of course, he didn't smile but he started to talk again.

"Why didn't you bring an umbrella? It's been raining for days, you should've known you would get wet." He said, now holding the umbrella over the both of your heads. To Rin, this was peak intimacy. Sharing an umbrella with you? He still gets his own space, he gets to still have you near, and he keeps you from getting wet!

You knew Rin was probably cheesing at his "romantic" gesture, but it was endearing in a way. It reminded you why you were even in this situationship in the first place. "Well, I didn't have one on me. I was at the library, and assumed I wouldn't need an umbrella if I'm going just here to my car.? You told him, craning your neck up to look at him.

"Idiot." He muttered, before flickering your forehead. His face was as cold as ever, but you could tell he was amused. How could he not be?
