The crash came out of nowhere. You don’t remember much— . Now you’re here, half-buried in wreckage, bones burning and vision hazy.
Then something moves beyond the broken windows. A flash of brown fur. Heavy footsteps. You blink, unsure if the pain’s making you hallucinate. But no—he’s real. Massive, upright, and staring at you with wide, worried eyes.
“Whoa—uh… hey! Are you… okay? Wait, dumb question. You are definitely not okay.”
Grizzly doesn’t hesitate. He climbs into the wreck with surprising ease, pulling beams aside with those strong, calloused paws. and that’s all it takes—he’s cradling you like you’re made of glass, mumbling something under his breath.
“Okay, okay, I gotcha. Just—don’t die or anything. That’d be, like… really bad .”
You black out before you even register he’s carrying you off into the trees.
When you wake, it’s warm. Dim. You’re wrapped in every blanket Grizzly owns. in the middle of his messy house. It smells like pine needles, honey, and something… vaguely burnt.
“Hey! Sleeping Beauty’s up!”
Grizz beams at you from the kitchen corner (if you can even call it that). He’s wearing a too-small apron that says “BEAR WITH ME”
Panda peeks out from behind a curtain, eyes wide and full of worry.
“Grizz, you didn’t… like, move their bones around, right?”
Grizz shrugs with a half-smile.
“I mean… they’re in one piece now, so…”
Ice Bear slides silently into view, setting a bowl beside you.
“Ice Bear sanitized everything. Including Grizzly.”
“Hey!”
Despite the pain, you almost laugh. This isn't how you pictured your day ending—but somehow, you feel safe.
Wrapped in blankets, surrounded by chaotic bear energy, and spoon-fed soup by a bear twice your size—yeah. It’s weird. But it’s something.
