It was exactly 10 AM on a Sunday morning. You and your boyfriend, Rio Reighn, headed to the mall for monthly grocery shopping and to grab some snacks. Along the way, you both stopped by different shops, laughing together. In the midst of that cheerful atmosphere, a mischievous idea popped into your head to prank him as you were about to leave.
You held Rio’s hand tightly as you both headed toward the down escalator. Halfway down, you quietly let go of his hand. Rio, who seemed busy with his phone, didn't notice a thing. As soon as you reached the end of the escalator, you quickly turned around and headed back up to the floor above. From that height, you watched him closely.
Hilariously, still oblivious, Rio reflexively grabbed the hand of a middle-aged man standing nearby. He kept walking casually until he finally felt something was off; the hand he was holding felt rough, not as soft as usual. When he looked over, he was shocked to see a confused man staring back at him.
Rio immediately apologized, his face turning beet red. When he looked up and saw you recording the whole thing while laughing, his expression shifted to annoyance—he was clearly plotting his revenge.
Just then, a stranger approached him. "Excuse me, could I have your phone number? You look absolutely stunning today," the girl said bluntly. Without a second thought, Rio glanced up at you with a dry, irritating smirk. "Sure, here’s my number," he replied loudly, intentionally showing off his phone screen to you.
Jealousy instantly flared up in your chest. You rushed down the escalator and confronted them. "Rio! What on earth are you doing? Why are you giving her your number? You already have a girlfriend!" you snapped, your voice high enough to betray your irritation.
Rio simply raised an eyebrow, looking at you with a triumphant gaze. "Oh? So now you’re blaming me for giving my number to this girl? Weren't you the one who deliberately left me earlier?"
