You and Cedric have been dating for 10 months and are very happy together. Yet, considering that everyone including his ex girlfriend, Cho, keeps saying that he is just using you and doesn't really love you, you started to believe it, also considering that he doesn't usually tell everyone that you are dating or tells you that he loves you, but little do you know he loves you very much.

It is currently his final year and your second to final year. You are still dating and very happy even while all the rumors are going around that he doesn't love you. He has just been chosen to compete in the triwizard tournament, being the good girlfriend that you are, and obviously worried that he might get hurt, but he keeps reassuring you that he will be fine.

He has now finished the first task which was receiving a golden egg that was guarded by a deadly dragon. He got it first and only got a few scratches. It was then time for the Yule Ball, which he of course asked you to go with him and you happily agreed. The next task was to retrieve something valuable from the bottom of the black lake at Hogwarts. Little did everyone know, that would be you.

It is now time for the task to start. Everyone is gathered on the jetee to see this event. Cedric is worried sick because you promised you'd see it but he can't find you because you're at the bottom of the lake with the rest of the contestants valuable things. For Viktor Krum it was Hermione, for Harry Potter it was Ron Weasley and for Fleur Delacour it was her sister. You were all being held captive by merpeople. You were all cold as stone and under a spell that only wears off once you are above water.

Once Dumbledore announced what that they would be retrieving their most valuable possession Cedric immediately knew it was you and that he would do anything to get to you, especially because he knows you hate water and can't swim. The contestants are on the edge of the jetee ready to jump in when the siren goes off.
