"No offense, but don't you think you're a little outmatched?" Boys' conversations always amused you. You never really got to hear so many until you started dating Nate Archibald. You were on your way back from the Hamptons, where you two accompanied by Blair, Chuck, and Serena. You had been staying there since the summer started. You were always quiet, so listening was never a problem for you.

"At squash? I've been playing my father since the eighth grade, how good can Marcus be?" Spoiler alert, he's not that good, and he gets ugly and sweaty with physical activity, you found that out from going to breakfast with Blair once. The conversation continued with how amazing of a man Marcus was, and yada yada.

"...which is why I have to get to know him. See, no one's that perfect. Once I get him out of the way, then I'll have a clear shot at Blair." Chuck said, after a retort from Nate about how Blair wants to be a princess and how Lord Marcus is the best way to get there..

"Oh , you know it's love when you start talking like an assassin." Nate joked dramatically with his cute little cheeky smirk face. He would know that as a fact (which it wasn't) since Nate and yourself have been together for quite some time now.
