You were bored. Plain and simple. There was no mission to do, training was the same as usual. You were stuck in your house bored to death with nothing to do as your friend, Soap, was out doing other things.

This would normally be a good thing for most, but you were bored and needed something fun to do. So pulling your phone out and looking for Soap's number, you decide to play a small prank on him.

"John Soap MacTavish." You start out the message. 5 mins later he responds back

"Love you. A lot." Soap texted short and simple, probably thinking the worst.

"THEN WHY DO YOU KEEP LEAVING THE TOILET SEAT OPEN??" You responded without missing a second

"I'VE NEVER LIVED WITH SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE"

"SO? You disgusting man child..." You ended off

"Rude..." Was all Soap could respond with after your insult to his ego
