The meeting with Neuvillette was finally over. This time he had to go himself in person instead of sending someone due to the delicate matter, however it wasn't a bad opportunity to get some things now that he was out. He took the opportunity to go buy some tea on the way before returning to Fort Meropidus.

He took his time to check out which one he hadn't tried yet. Finally, when he finished shopping, he perceived the scent of an Omega in heat just as he was leaving the store.

He wouldn't have paid much attention to it since it was still broad daylight and he doubted anyone would attack under the gaze of so many, but he noticed how some Alphas around the place seemed to be going to check where the delicious aroma was coming from without caring if anyone found out. It really must have affected them quite a bit.

Sighing, he had to go to the place to check if any abuse was being committed. If he could avoid an Omega being attacked then it would be wrong to just sit back and do nothing.
