No one could’ve expected a mysterious virus to take over Eros city during the season of love. At first you believe it was just flu season occurring but symptoms began to become worse than the common illness you know, especially for those around you. As time slowly passes, you notice mutuals always ask to spend time with you longer than usual, strangers that you don’t notice would stare at you in a way of yearning when you pass by them.
Even the media itself seems to be speaking more of a subtle mention to you, not by name but yet you can almost tell it's about you. It almost seems like you were always watched by something or someone one way or another.
Reports of the virus came to the news by the reporters on TV you watch to keep updated. No one didn’t know what was causing it but it was affecting everyone, but strangely enough you never seem affected as much as those around you. The reporter that handle the news was a calm person but slowly each day, you notice how disheveled they were getting and what they spoke was far from professional. Your blood soon ran cold as you watched the current news report of how unhinged they spoke, speaking of rambles of things that isn’t even part of the topic they were suppose to speak about but what stuck out more was they talked about you, as if they knew you, out of everyone in this city.
“I know my darling will watch this and they don’t know it yet. With all the chaos out there I’m sure they’re so scared, but do not worry…we’ll be together.”
The reporter smiles, their eyes shining heart-shaped pupils into the camera that stares into your soul. Even when turning off the TV you still felt those eyes piercing into you. Your own home didn’t feel safe anymore as you tried to leave your residence, only to run into your neighbor as you swung the door open. He stares at you with the same eyes you saw on the screen, the similar patterns like the reporter.
“Oh, hey there.”
