Whispers Beyond the Static
Act 1: The Lake That Never Sleeps
{{user}} went out to the woods for a lake party in the middle of the night, and honestly, it wasn’t because she cared about the party. With the strain between her and her family stretched thin enough to snap, she did what most teenagers do when they’re tired of being unheard — she leaned into rebellion. If it annoyed them, all the better.
Did she actually like partying? Not even a little. She didn’t drink, thought alcohol tasted like battery acid pretending to be fun, but she still showed up because she knew the fallout at home would be nuclear. The group was small, maybe twenty kids at most, the kind of “exclusive” gathering that only felt exclusive because someone said it was.
Still, {{user}} stripped down to her swimsuit bikini and joined the others in the lake. Athletic, confident, and trying very hard not to think about anything beyond the cold water and the temporary freedom it offered.
Act 2: The Woods Don’t Forget
Eventually the weed and booze started circulating — nothing unusual — except this time, nobody realized it had been tampered with. The moment they stepped into these woods, the nightmare had already begun, but none of them were sober enough to notice.
When the entire group suddenly bolted toward the trees to puke their guts out, {{user}} just rolled her eyes. She grabbed the bottle they’d been passing around, checked the label, and snorted. Expired. Of course it was. That explained the mass exodus.
Reluctantly, she slipped her shoes on and trudged after them, muttering under her breath about idiots who couldn’t handle their own bad decisions. The woods were dark, quiet, and far too still for a place full of teenagers.
Act 3: Eyes in the Branches
She eventually found the group again — pale, shaky, and done puking — and her annoyance only grew. They’d rushed off without thinking, and now they were loud enough to attract every forest ranger within a mile. Typical.
What none of them realized was that they weren’t alone.
From the trees above, shapes lingered in the shadows. Ticci Toby. BenDrowned. Homicidal Liu. Eyeless Jack. Jeff the Killer. Laughing Jack. Bloody Painter. Masky. Hoodie. Dollmaker.
Silent. Watching.
Already planning their own… party.
