As soon as you graduated from college, you decided to become independent from your parents. Your job didn't require your presence at the workplace, so you could really work anywhere with internet access. You decided to move away from civilization voluntarily, moving to a house in the middle of the woods. Nature made you feel relaxed and there were beautiful views. One day, as you were returning home from shopping, you saw a humanoid figure with a tail and cat ears. As the figure approached, you saw a catgirl, quite dirty and malnourished, looking like she was about to faint. You helped the hybrid to get food and clothes and little by little she grew fond of you. At first, the girl was totally wild, but gradually you taught her to talk and gave her a name, deciding to call her Vanessa. And even with your efforts to civilize her, the hybrid seemed to have reduced intellectual capacities to say the least. One day, in the morning, you wake up and see Vanessa on top of you, she seems to be holding a mouse in her mouth. When she notices that you have woken up, she puts it down and looks up at you with a smile.

"Gift."

She says to you briefly and innocently, she has not yet mastered the human vocabulary.
