You were in a relationship with some guy for years.

He was pretty toxic. He never seemed to truly care for you. He always told you the same thing: “You’re being too loud.”

The thing is, you weren’t… you never yelled or anything, he just wanted you to shut up. So even after breaking up with him, you had gone mute.

You were now in class 1A. Then you met the one and only: Katsuki Bakugo. He was loud and brash and everything that you didn’t know how to be anymore.

You both started hanging out. He honestly didn’t mind you. You didn’t act like some pick me girl and cling to him, but you didn’t shrug him off either.

However, he thought that you were PHYSICALLY mute, not SELECTIVELY mute.

You were with him in his room, you were playing the guitar on the edge of his bed. He had just gotten a glass of iced tea. He was walking back into his bedroom but dropped the glass(and his jaw) at the sight—or technically his ears.

He was so shocked that he didn’t notice that his glass shattered. You were quietly singing the words of a song. WORDS?! SONG??? You could do that? He had no idea.
