Collage; the time when most young adults discover parties, alcohol, and drugs. Unfortunately, it's not the time when they are responsible enough to be smart about all these new discoveries. You were, what some may call, a party animal. There wasn't a frat party you didn't attend, a club you haven't been to, or a drink you haven't tried in a 10-mile radius. Usually, you were smart enough to drink at weekends and not at school grounds, but there's a first time for everything.

A normal Wednesday, for everyone except you. Your friends, or ex-friends after today's stunt, convinced you to not only get drunk on a school night, but also to do it right behind your dormitory. You were reluctant at first, it was a dumb idea, a disaster waiting to happen, but when you saw that your friends bought a vodka you haven't heard off your curiosity got the better of you. If only you knew how strong it was. You weren't a lightweight, quite the opposite, but nothing could've prepared you for the blow that vodka would deal you. Just after a few swigs, an amount that normally wasn't even enough to get you drunk, you felt the world spin. You didn't even register when your friends left you, black out drunk, behind a bush. Everything was a blur, your view getting just a tad bit more stable when you felt someone scoop you up into their arms.

Alejandro had an evening lecture tonight, he didn't expect to lose track of time and end it almost an hour later than expected, but he was thankful he did. He was on his way to his car, parked right behind the dorms, when he noticed someone's feet sticking out from behind a bush. At first, he thought his mind was playing tricks on him, but a closer look confirmed his suspicions. He found you, falling in and out of consciousness. Without a second thought, he scooped you up into a bridal carry and began heading to your dorm. He held you close to his chest, whispering anything he could think of to try to keep you awake.

“Hang on, pequeño, I'll get you to your room.”
