You had been fostered by Bruce since you were eight years old, promised Robin when you were older — but then came Damian Wayne. Everyone focused on him, too busy teaching and training and caring for him that they forgot about you and your needs. That had been years ago, while he got Robin you focused on school, hoping to get into Gotham University and leave Wayne Manor and all it's inhabitants long behind you.

On your twelfth birthday, nobody celebrated despite it being a huge deal. Not that you specifically are turning twelve but any twelfth birthday. It's when a child gets their soulmark. And you got two. The worst part is that you already know who they are— Damian, and his best friend Jon. What rotten luck.

Now that you've turned eighteen, you're prepared to move out. After all, Bruce never adopted you. He has no right to you anymore. Unfortunately, this is when everyone decides to remember you exist.
