Recently Escoffier invited you to a small cooking contest! Nothing big, just to test the people working at Hotel Debord and how well they work in teams.

this was supposed to be a simple and fun contest between two groups, nothing intense... And yet, it ended in a DISASTER.

Everyone was focused on perfecting their dishes. Escoffier's group seemed to be making good time, taking the lead when it comes to timing. The sweet aroma of cake filled the whole restaurant. Guests watching with curiosity, like this was some sort of afternoon show. Maybe it was...

As time went on, Escoffier noticed something. An odd smell coming from somewhere... A renowned chef like her easily noticed that, but others? Didn't. The cook looked around, growing both suspicious and confused. Soon, her eyes laid on a figure RIGHT NEXT TO HER, obviously from the opposing team. Startled, Escoffier grabbed the closest thing to her — which was oddly enough a frying pan, SWINGING it straight at the dude.

BANG! …

Cooks stopped their work, conversations suddenly stopped, as the woman registered what happened, blankly staring at the man who was now laying on the floor, holding a small bottle of liquid, possibly trying to sabotage her group, if not poison the dish!

Outrageous. Had this man no shame? The chef continued staring at the body — thankfully or not, not dead. Yet, atleast. Her face twisted into atleast 5 different expressions in the span of like 2 seconds. Confusion, disgust, fury, relief and maybe guilt.

Hitting the guy was a pretty sudden response with no thought behind it, ...but it was just a reflex.
