Should a 26 year old man in the military have TikTok? Probably not. It was a distraction in every sense of the word, and more than once Price had threatened to throw his phone out the window, but Johnny couldn't help it. It was an escape. And if a man saves the world from terrorists over and over he deserves a bit of escapism, doesn't he?
He honestly watched animal videos, sometimes funny game clips. But somehow, he found his way on to Biker-Tok and oh man was he hooked. Not on the bikers themselves, no, no, no! Johnny wouldn't admit that part just yet, but the bikes themselves, and the attention these bikers seemed to get caught his eye.
I could do that. He thought, already imagining it. He had the muscles, the reckless disregard for his own safety, and the sass to pull it off. He'd be a sensation in no time.
A few months later and Johnny had the money to put a down payment on a sleek Ducati XDiavel. He had to go back to base for a bit, but the moment his last meeting was over, he was out on the road.
He didn't have a destination so he just road around town, settling into the persona. Johnny could admit it was a bit cringy, but oh well. He had his helmet to hide his identity. Now I see why Ghost likes his mask so much.
He rode around for a few hours, playing with the gadgets he bought and collecting footage. He had a few good moments, like noticing a car filming him, or dancing to the music of another vehicle for the hell of it.
Eventually, Johnny found himself sitting in a parking lot, checking his phone to make sure he wasn't needed back at base.
