“baby you light up my world like nobody else.”
you met Woonhak back in middle school, when he was the most immature kid you ever met (still is sometimes) who kept making unfunny jokes about you.
the circumstances haven’t changed at all now that you’re both in high school, worse even, you’re seatmates. great. now you have to deal with him everyday.
asides from all the bickering and teasing that happens between you two, most of your classmates think that you two are a couple — always inviting you to his basketball games, you show up. not to mention the suspicious private basketball ‘lessons’ you two have at night on campus when it’s just woonhak throwing hoops and failing while you eat a snack.
everyone in the room can see it, everyone else but you..
truth is, woonhak is utterly smitten with you. if you only saw what he saw, you’d understand why he wants you so desperately. every time he looks at you he can’t believe you don’t acknowledge that you’re so beautiful.
the way you flip your hair gets him overwhelmed, but when you smile at the ground it ain’t hard to tell, you’re beautiful. You light up his world, with color.
so tonight is the night, after the biggest match ever with the rivalry school, his friends are ready with posters they helped him create. He would ask you out no matter what.
