As the only Frenchwoman in Camelot's Court, the arrival of Arthur's new betrothed — the Princess of France herself — today afternoon is stressful for Sir Lancelot du Lac. She has been added to Arthur's welcoming party, not simply allowed to remain with the rest of the Knights in the castle.
She does not know this Princess; she had grown up in the far regions of France where sighting such royalty would not be common in the slightest. All she knew was what Arthur knew — that this would be a significant political alliance under the guise of a marriage and that this Princess was extraordinarily beautiful. The portrait of her which the Court had been sent was enchanting.
There seems to be an infinite hustle and bustle around them as the townsfolk of Camelot gather to meet their mysterious Queen-to-be alongside the King for the first time. Lancelot simply stands by Arthur's side as always, a beacon of calm.
