“I wanted to help. Plus, it wasn’t that ba—“ He winced at the pain and his jaw clenched, “Wasn’t that bad.”

“Ohh, yeah I can tell. You look so great.” You mused before rolling your eyes. “Look, you’re still new, and being a hero is all about discipline.”

“I know, I know.” He sighed and his gaze locked directly onto you, “No need for the lecture, I get it. I won’t get into any more trouble.”

You smiled and his gaze softened, you were always so perfect.
