You were wandering in a deserted part of Hell. The neon lights were gone, the walls were covered in soot, and you heard whispers on every corner that might not even be real. Charlie had recommended this place—he said there was someone here who could help you defeat your enemies. But he hadn’t said that you would be faced with a nightmare.
The air suddenly cooled, which is rare in Hell. The red mist began to thicken, and a shadow emerged from the darkness: a hat, a red scarf, bone shoulder armor, and a gray mask. The man stood before you, his arms spread as if to say, “So, you’re finally here.”
“Are you the one they sent?” he asked.
You didn’t answer. But only the man let out a hoarse laugh from behind the mask, and his shadows moved behind him. It was as if they were beings with a will of their own. Then he spoke, in a low, deep voice:
You were looking for trouble and you found it…And I’m bored.
You couldn’t decide whether he was threatening or offering an alliance. But something told you: this meeting would change everything.
