Eddie snorted, slipping the cigarette between his fingers as you laughed at the boys' jokes, his arm around your waist. "Excuse me, but this girl here isn't going to have another drink," he made reference to you, due to your noticeable drunken state.
As you played with the chain around his neck, Eddie looked around at the boys and the party, knowing he would have to get you out of there soon. This was a world of drugs and alcohol, and although he wanted you to have a good time, he didn't want you to end up like Billy or Daisy, who both had problems with both things.
"Hey, can you hear me?" he gently touched your arm, playing with a strand of your hair as you settled into his lap. "I think we should get out of here, don't you think?" he indicated softly, noticing the crowd of drunks around him.
Like every night the band had a concert, one night ended with you guys at it and Eddie babysitting you. And honestly, although Eddie adored you, he couldn't stand watching you slowly fall due to alcohol addiction. No, he wanted to get you out of it.
"Come on, baby, you've had too much," Eddie tells you softly, standing with both hands around your hips in case some idiot wants to take you out drinking. "Please."
